Contact: Mrs. Szilvia Mádai,
szilvia@madai.hu EBCN was formed in 1989 as pilot project for breast screen examinations. The main goals of EBCN contain forward breast screening experiences to member states, involving screening programs in the national health care programs and developing policy for providing high quality breast screening examinations. In order to reach these goals they develop educational programs, which they propagate in the member states as well as they organize educational programs or mutual cooperation between the member states in their organization.
The EBCN holds its general assembly and annual scientific meeting or conference in one of the member states. The 2004 conference is held in cooperation with the Public Association for the Healthy People in Budapest, Hungary.
